"The common human nature tends to learn inappropriate things faster than appropriate things"  Dark humor is certainly the next entry into the entertainment industry thanks to the efforts of social media in spreading the culture of internet humor. The special quality of the newly risen internet culture is that it has a contribution from each and every part of the human society i.e. from office workers and college students to terrorists and hacking groups. Such an intermingle of ideas and thoughts necessitates conflict.  Dark humor feeds on this conflict and it thrives to amuse people over seemingly insensitive topics.  Some people do not take things like the 9/11 incident very lightly and do not like to see any jokes/humor on them. Same is the case with things like rape, murder, and terrorism. Such a preference is completely okay and it can be accounted for in real life.
